{ippity} OWH Cards

Yes, you are seeing correctly! This is a lot of girly cards in one post!!

These are some of the first cards I made when I ventured out here to Arkansas. I did not have any of my own supplies... Well.. Using someone Else's supplies until you get your own makes you appreciate your own "stuff".

Stamp is Ippity, stamped in Versafine.

Colored with either Crayola colored pencils or crappy SU markers. Yeah, crappy as my mom bought them on Ebay and she thought they would be gentley used... Yeah right. Most of them look like the tips were used to brush some one's teeth!! Makes me appreciate my markers!!!

Sew in Love with You

Hey friends!
I have a bunch of these die cuts that I got out of a Michael's bargain bin a while ago thinking how nice they would be to use them on Operation Write Home cards! Little did I know... HALF OF THEM HAD GLITTER ON THEM!!!! If you are new to OWH, you should know that Rule #1 is NO GLITTER!!!!!! (This could explain why I hate glitter so much now a days!) But some stuff with glitter can be sealed with glossy accents if you really like the glitter appeal.

All paper comes from Recollections All Seasons paper packs. I figured this would make a great LOVE card for my stash of OWH cards. :)

I got this paper, and sticker from a paper studio pack. I love love love the owls. :) I guess I am following the trend.

Lately this has been my current addiction. I have been buying a bunch of it, because of my goal of 500 Christmas cards for Operation Write Home.  Which by the way... the due date for those if they ARE tucked, is Halloween... which is not far off!!! So I better stop this post so I can make more cards!!!

Baby Shower

These are pictures from a recent gift I put together for a new friends babyshower! Maria is due in a few weeks with a little boy! I just met Maria recently, but I treated her like any of my friends having a baby! I put together a little gift basket! I bought a lot of items at Sam's Club, and Walmart. She seemed to really enjoy it! I cant wait to meet the new little friend!!

Mermaid Treasure!

This is my go to stamp set from Bombshell Stamps. Shes beautiful and every way!!! Plus I love the sentiment, "Its your lucky day, check out the booty!"

I also used the "ocean/sea life" from a Ippity set called Fishy Philosophy. I love pairing these two particular sets together!

I made a bunch of these cards in different styles for OWH. I hope they find their way to a good home. If I remember correctly, the paper is K&Co, got it on sale last year after halloween at mikes. The Stamp is from a halloween set, by recollections at Mikes. :)

I found this stamp on the Unity itty bitty page. I knew it would be perfect for some man cards for OWH. First I figured I would give it a whirl on my friend Brian. He and I have been having our friendship battle lately... and I figured this would be a nice thing to send him in the mail.

I must admit, I dont make many seasonal cards. But I found this house mouse stamp... and this paper, I knew I needed to make some for OWH! :)

I dont ever make Thanksgiving cards, so I figured that this would be perfect for the people who dont celebrate Thanksgiving like me! :)

This image, comes from LENA yet again. Before I left, I stamped a bunch of her stamps, and this was a PMS I had to have! I made this birthday card for Diem's cousin Sarah! :) All patterned papers are DCWV. And she is colored with Prismas, and SU!

For Bailey

I made this card with some scrap papers, for my niece Bailey who turned 6!! Earlier this month. :) I got this digi from my friend Lena's stash. It comes from TGF! My nieces all love horses, but I hope they really like UNICORNS!

The Unicorn has been colored with SU! markers... Like usual!

Hey Stud

Most of you know, I am a die hard OWH fan! If you dont know what OWH is, you should check out this awesome organization. I make cards, and I write letters what they call "Any Hero Letters". Both are so rewarding.

I made this card for a particular Marine. His name is Brian. He was actually one of the very first people to respond to one of my any hero letters!! (how rad right?!) He was deployed in Afghanistan, and we have kept in touch since his last deployment. Well Now we email, and text. He informed me recently he was up for a 2nd deployment for this year (BTW, he just got back in.... March). He has been gone since July 3rd. I promised him I would write him everyday. So I made this card for him!

This stamp is an itty bitty from Unity. I personally LOVE!!! this stamp set. I plan to use them a lot for OWH!!

I was recently in a bath and body works the other day.  I got to talking to a woman that worked there. Little did I know... SHE WAS THE STORE MANAGER!! She was super nice, and at the end of our conversation, she asked me to apply for their job opening. :) Soooooo I did. But, I also made her this Thank you card, with the Toteally Tess set, and Recollections All Seasons paper pack. I hope manage Jackie enjoyed this card! We had talked about how I enjoy making cards, and how she found that impressive... :) Why not share my passion. :)

I dont know about you, BUT I love to receive mail. Minus Bills. Bills shouldnt even be considered mail.

I recieved some mail from my Bombshell BFFand SISTER ;) You may recognize her from Bombshell Stamps. She is the reason why I am on the Bombshell DT. She twisted my rubber arm! :) RACHAEL! Wow I am a terrible Auntie Em. I will say, I did get these out ON TIME. I just didnt post them on here on time.
My "Nephews" (Diem's cousins) Love Thomas. So does Diem if you all didnt know. I had some Thomas paper in my stash that I was going to use for OWH, but then I remembered I HAVE LITTLE BOYS IN MY LIFE WHO LOOOOOVE THOMAS!!

Come to find out, they had a Thomas birthday too.

I Love That You Love Me

I love Operation Write Home. I try to make at least 6 of the same cards when I cut into a piece of scrapbook paper. But when I get the 6 bases, I usually get some 1.5-ish scraps left over. What am I going to do with these little scraps?! I attached them to my cards!!! And then added a quick sentiment! Fun for summer right? I loved this paper I couldn't just waste it!!!

Chicks Dig Guns

It feels like its been forever since I have posted something that isn't BOMBSHELLS. But... In this case, I am going to talk about how one of my BOMBSHELL FRIENDS got me hooked on  Smeared Ink. If you haven't heard of Smeared Ink and you have a mischievous, edgy side you should check them out. My friend Rachael, who is a new Bombshell Girl just like me posted this particular set called Chicks Dig Guns, and I fell in love. IMMEDIATELY! So I went over to their store to purchase me this set come to find out, THEY ARE GOING STRICTLY DIGITAL SOON AND DISCOUNTING THEIR RUBBER STAMPS!! I had to order myself a set and now my mom just incase she didnt get a chance to get a set. WE  GOT THE LAST SETS!!! (OR so they said). 

I love this set. I made this card for Brian for his Dirty Thirty Birthday. Because well he likes hot girls with guns. I think shes a pretty girl!!! One of the best girls in this set too!!! I hope he likes it!

I also stamped the inside of the card. Which is always rare. I rarely stamp the inside. So here is the sentiment.

Happy Early Mom's Day to my Mom, Linda. Who is by far one of my favorite Red heads EVERRRRR! 

I made this vertical easel card for her, for the challenge over at Rise the Bar where I am a Guest Bartender!!! Thanks to my Bombshell altered flats I created using their Hawaiian theme last week!! :)

I used the Bombshell Angel, and the Bombshell Angel Digi clothing. Sentiment is also from the Digi set. I also used the Tattoo Font to stamp out "MOM". Which is a brand new set I got from Bombshell Stamps. :) 

She is inked up in Versafine, colored with Prismacolor (Eggshell) and SU Real red marker. 

I hope my mom enjoys it.
