I hijacked this paper from my mom.
I cut out the cute umbrella and rain boots and paired with patterned paper. I hope it goes over well with OWH receipents. MAYBE a little girl puddle jumper like my Diem!

Surprise
I love the use of tradtional bold man colors. I think even if there is a girl on the front, it is actually "gender neutral" in a way.
I made a few of these for OWH. They can always use man cards... and BIRTHDAY! enjoy!

OWH: Dog cards
I love this stamp! I LOVE dogs, and I know when our Heroes are deployed the may miss their 4 legged friends too. So I made a couple different varieties of this... here are just a few. I even tried to make them man-ly too. :)

Hey Stud- Unity
I purchased this hey stud set from unity last summer... early fall. right after the move. I used it for a while, then it got put away in one of my cleaning ventures... Thats when I lose stamps I think.
ANYWAY!!
I figured I needed to use it for some man cards for OWH. Here are just a few styles. :)

Bombshell Magnets
I have this former student athlete in my life that inspires me to be a better person. She is more like a little sister, and she helped me realize that I am a role model, and there are little eyes watching. I made this magnet for her locker at school, or at home for personal use. I colored her with Prismas and Bic Markers. The shoe is cut out of adhesive paper. Stamps are from Bombshell Stamps: Her name is in Tattoo Font and the Girl is from Girls Ruin.
Yes its a blurry picture. It was taken with my 3 year old cell phone that is on its dying legs... if phones had legs.
And here is my little sis right here from last summer!!! I cant wait to see her in.... a few weeks!!!! ETA up for discussion!

Four wheels... two wheels... inspired me for a masculine card!
Vintage Motorcycle from Bombshell Stamps is defintely outside my comfort zone. I love the look of it, but everytime I look at it, I get discouraged. HOW DO I COLOR THIS SUCKER?! I think I did a tolerable job. I love using browns and greens for a masculine vintage vibe. I was inspired to make this card originally for my boyfriend who loves/likes/owns/doesnt get to ride much Motorcyles. But love this card so much, I might put in my pile of OWH cards. I am sure my boyfriend will understand. ;) You think?
This bike is colored with prismacolor and my new to me SU In color markers that I purchased from my SU Demo Kelly :) Kelly is my former DSS from the lost group on SCS. I no longer had a Demo since two of my friends who were demos in Ukiah were no longer doing it. I chose Kelly!!! If you need any SU stuff and you dont have a demo CHECK HER OUT! plus she is wickedly talented.
Anyway!
This is card # for Masculine May. I wonder if I can keep this up!? I doubt it but I must stay positive. Who knows... maybe more cars and motorcycles will start being used in my craft room!!! :)

I thought this was a gonner
I thought this amazing stamp was lost for ever the other day. I have been looking for it EVERYWHERE! Come to find out, I had stashed it in another one of my Bombshell Stamps sets. I tend to do this a lot!
So! Back to business, after a little hiatus. I have been crafting, just not blogging. Why not start May with a bang with a masculine card.
I love this car from the Hot Rod Collection at Bombshell Stamps. This set is appropriately titled Speed Shop. I was inspired to used this stamp for a card for a friend I have fallen out of touch with who inspires me to promote my craft. He owns a upholstery business, and loves the Vintage car pin up vibe. You may have heard of him on my blog before. His name is Drew!
I used random papers out of my stash, but this beauty has been colored with Prismacolor and Stampin Up markers :) And I couldnt resist using my new Nesties that I got for $5 on clearance at Mikes! :) I call it a good day!

Wrinkle Free Distress Background
- Non-Stick Craft Sheet or alternative
- Three Different Colors Ranger™ Distress Inks
- Water Mister
- Heat/Embossing Tool
- Shipping tag or cardstock
1) Swipe the inks across the non-stick surface, by lying felt to surface and wipe across. Try not to overlay the inks, as this will contaminate the colors.
2)
Mist the inks with water until small beads form.
3) Lay the paper into the watered ink to pick up color. It is not necessary to twist or turn the paper. Take paper out of ink.
4) Use heat/embossing tool to dry the paper. The paper may curl, but when dry will flatten out.
5) Add more color to the paper by placing in ink again.
6) Dry paper once again with heat tool.
7) Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have the desired level of color and layers. Remember to dry each layer before repeating.
8) Using the paper just made, complete card.

Bombshell Stamps: Some like it hot
Welcome to the BOMBSHELL STAMPS BLOG HOP!!!
Rise and Shine!! I love this set from Bombshell Stamps. Even more so because she looks like shes ready for summer, and I am one of those people who happen to love the summer time!! The hop theme SOME LIKE IT HOT made me think of this set immediately. Plus, the color yellow. I have a lot of yellow in my crafty arsenal probably because its close to my favorite color ORANGE!!!
I am totally over this winter weather crap! I have to commute 45 minutes each way to work. It definitely cramps my style! So hopefully things improve weather wise SOON!!!
If youre hopping with us in the hop, there is a links below on who is next on your little tour. Be sure to comment on all the stops! If you do, you may get picked to win a PRIZE! So Comment away! There are some lovely projects along the way!!

OWH: Many Thanks
I received a thank you card in the mail the other day from an Airman who thanked me for my cards that I make for OWH. How sweet right? Well this inspired me to start making some Thank you cards for OWH. I dont make Thank yous all too often, but I found a stamp set Ive never used (Notice a trend?). Ive had it for over 7 months, and I havent even open the wrapping.
I also hijacked this paper from my mom. You will notice a lot of this paper in the next few posts. I tried using up the whole sheet on different cards, and tried not to leave big scraps.
Wish me luck!

OWH: Just a note to say Hello
I was crafting at my moms house this week due to me not being able to get to work from the winter storm we just had. (Winter Storm Q if you are curious)... I figured I needed to use some stamps that I havent used.... EVER! I bought this set from Hero Arts at Hobby Lobby this summer. Ive never used it. I know typewriters where a huge trend this summer in the crafting world, so I figured why not actually follow the craft trend and buy it.
THIS IMAGE IS PERFECT FOR OWH CARDS!!!
I hijacked some paper from my mom, since for all of you who know my mom personally... she buys paper, and hoards it. She says she has to let it "age" like her fabric. Well... I think it needed to be used on my cards!!!
I made different cards with this for Operation Write Home. Did you know, that I havent made a single OWH card until Thursday?! Yeah, I am slacking!!!!!

Latte Anya, with a little profanity.
I received this little cutie of a stamp from my best friend Lena. She sent it too me after I made the comment (*CAUTION PLEASE EXCUSE THE FOUL LANGUAGE ABOUT TO BE USED*) "I would paper piece the S*** out of it". Alas, I have yet to paper piece her, but I did stamp with her a lot yesterday. I made this card for Operation write home. I figured she would, be a good help in sending some love home.

Winter Storm Q, thank you for the inkspiration :)
ITS SNOWING!!!
We are under severe winter weather watch with Winter Storm Q. (Great name for a storm right?) We have about 3 inches of snow since about 10 am. It lets up from time to time, but we are about to get some ICE!!! So I figured I would take some time and make a card. I used my much neglected Bombshells. I received this set from my Friend Dawn, over at Sunnyside Up. If you have never seen her blog, you need to. Shes amazing!!! I met her through the former group at SCS, Divine Secret Siblings. :) She is amazing, and full of artistic wisdom!
I hope all is well where you are... I am off to go make something else today!!

Join us at Bombshells for a blog hop!!
Greetings! If you would like to play along with the Bombshells February Hump Day Hop, you have found the right place! This month, the theme is
"Some Like it HOT!" Figured after last month's "cold" theme, "hot" would
be a good challenge to go with. And this will be easy, since ALL of the
Bombshells (stamps and you REAL Bombshells out there) are all hotties.
So please, sign up below and join in!!!
This hop will take place on Wednesday, February 27th...always the last Wednesday of the month. Slight change this month!!!The deadline to sign up is Monday, February 25th at 11:59 p.m. PDT. I will post the blog roll here, on Tuesday, the 26th. You will be responsible to check the blogroll, and of course add it to your post. Your blog post should go live at 12:00 A.M. Eastern Daylight Time on February 27th.
Please be obvious about your signup, and be sure to add your blog address. Thanks! I hope you will play along with this "Some Like it HOT!" theme.
Please note; if you are suddenly unable to participate in the hop (hey, life happens), and the hop has already begun, I ask that you please write a short little blog post simply stating that you aren't able to participate, and include the blog roll. This is super important. If the hop has already started, we don't want our hoppers to get lost mid-hop! So, if you have a teeny post up with the blog roll, hoppers can still hop without any broken links. Thank you so much for your cooperation with this!

Some Love bugs
Valentines Day is fastly approaching. I made these cute little Mimi Lovebug cards for Daniel's two daughters for Valentines day. I finally decided to try something different. I did the handdrawn stitching, some bakers twine, and!!!! I used my nesties! (It was seriously time to dust those suckers off!!) I havent met the girls yet. But I figured this would be a good ice breaker? Making them Valentines day cards. I just hope they like them. Tomorrow, I will try to make Diem's, then possibly my brothers daughters their valentines. Lots of love coming out of my craft room lately!!!Be sure to scroll down to look at both cards. Blogger isnt liking my post! (Even if they are relatively the same)
