Mix of masculine with feminine

I love the use of masculine colors on a feminine card.

Here is an image from Stamping bella. with papers from my stash.

 Colored with prismas and SU!

I made this card and several others like it for OWH. :)

Surprise

I love the use of tradtional bold man colors. I think even if there is a girl on the front, it is actually "gender neutral" in a way.

I made a few of these for OWH. They can always use man cards... and BIRTHDAY! enjoy!

OWH: Dog cards

I love this stamp! I LOVE dogs, and I know when our Heroes are deployed the may miss their 4 legged friends too. So I made a couple different varieties of this... here are just a few. I even tried to make them man-ly too. :)

Hey Stud- Unity

I purchased this hey stud set from unity last summer... early fall. right after the move. I used it for a while, then it got put away in one of my cleaning ventures... Thats when I lose stamps I think.

ANYWAY!!

I figured I needed to use it for some man cards for OWH. Here are just a few styles. :)

Bombshell Magnets

I have this former student athlete in my life that inspires me to be a better person. She is more like a little sister, and she helped me realize that I am a role model, and there are little eyes watching. I made this magnet for her locker at school, or at home for personal use. I colored her with Prismas and Bic Markers. The shoe is cut out of adhesive paper. Stamps are from Bombshell Stamps: Her name is in Tattoo Font and the Girl is from Girls Ruin.

Yes its a blurry picture. It was taken with my 3 year old cell phone that is on its dying legs... if phones had legs.

And here is my little sis right here from last summer!!! I cant wait to see her in.... a few weeks!!!! ETA up for discussion!

Four wheels... two wheels... inspired me for a masculine card!

Vintage Motorcycle from Bombshell Stamps is defintely outside my comfort zone. I love the look of it, but everytime I look at it, I get discouraged. HOW DO I COLOR THIS SUCKER?! I think I did a tolerable job. I love using browns and greens for a masculine vintage vibe. I was inspired to make this card originally for my boyfriend who loves/likes/owns/doesnt get to ride much Motorcyles. But love this card so much, I might put in my pile of OWH cards. I am sure my boyfriend will understand. ;) You think?

This bike is colored with prismacolor and my new to me SU In color markers that I purchased from my SU Demo Kelly :) Kelly is my former DSS from the lost group on SCS. I no longer had a Demo since two of my friends who were demos in Ukiah were no longer doing it. I chose Kelly!!! If you need any SU stuff and you dont have a demo CHECK HER OUT! plus she is wickedly talented.

Anyway!

This is card # for Masculine May. I wonder if I can keep this up!? I doubt it but I must stay positive. Who knows... maybe more cars and motorcycles will start being used in my craft room!!! :)

I thought this was a gonner

I thought this amazing stamp was lost for ever the other day. I have been looking for it EVERYWHERE! Come to find out, I had stashed it in another one of my Bombshell Stamps sets. I tend to do this a lot!

So! Back to business, after a little hiatus. I have been crafting, just not blogging. Why not start May with a bang with a masculine card.

I love this car from the Hot Rod Collection at Bombshell Stamps. This set is appropriately titled Speed Shop. I was inspired to used this stamp for a card for a friend I have fallen out of touch with who inspires me to promote my craft. He owns a upholstery business, and loves the Vintage car pin up vibe. You may have heard of him on my blog before. His name is Drew!

I used random papers out of my stash, but this beauty has been colored with Prismacolor and Stampin Up markers :) And I couldnt resist using my new Nesties that I got for $5 on clearance at Mikes! :) I call it a good day!
