Bracelet for Haley

If you follow me on Facebook, you have probably seen this bracelet. Some people thought this was a wooden bowl {due to it being on its side.}

I made this bracelet for one of my best friends, Haley. She has been asking... FOREVER for one and I kept neglecting to make one for her.

She came by my house on Monday and I showed her my stamp sets that she could chose from for me to put on a wooden bracelet for her. She chose Mermaid Treasure... But I also added Hawaiian Girl to this bracelet just because of the little turtle :)

I used Stazon, White tissue paper, Bic Mark its, Distress Inks, and Sparkle Mod Podge on this bracelet. I hope she likes it! She seemed to when I gave it to her on Tuesday!!! :) And imagine that! This qualifies for another BSS DT ONLY CHALLENGE!! :) Look at me... I am on a roll!!

doodles for Haley

Rumor is the proper term for things like this called a Zentangle. I prefer to just call it a doodle. I love the feel of a brand new  sharpie and that is what is used to draw this for one of my best friends, Haley. She has been asking me for a while to draw her one so I finally did it. Boy did it start a monster. I ended up drawing two smaller versions for two other people. This is a 12x12 doodle. Now I need to go pick up a scrapbook frame for her :)

Tye Dye!

In this picture is, myself, Haley, and Diem. Its two generations of babysitting. I used to watch Haley when she was little at camp. She was actually one of my FAVORITE campers. I can not believe she is graduating high school, and just turned 18 this year. She is such an amazing woman and I am so glad Diem loves her just as much, if not more than I do. :) I needed to do something for Haley from Diem because Diem was leaving and we like to make things. Diem and I made a trio of matching tye dyed shirts.
