Craft Day with the Girls

This is from Saturday. Mia walked in on me working on some graduation goodies Friday night, and she asked me if we could make cards. So here we are making cards/ pictures for our families. They did really well... They were really facinated with my glue and my buttons!! What crazy little hooligans. Not long after we worked on our craft projects. Anthony came to town, and we (John Nick, Mia, Diem, Grandma Kathy, Anthony and I) went to down town Kingman and went to the Spring rumage sale. First Kathy, Diem, Mia and I stopped at Sonic for 2-4 Happy Hour. We got Slushes and went on our adventure. After the trip down town, we went to the Museum. We were there for a while. I of course had my camera!!! Everyone knows I am really into vintage clothing and style.... well they had a whole area devoted to Women's vintage clothing from 1920-1970ish. It was sooooo neat!! Here are some of the dresses I really liked!

This Dress was someone's prom Dress. I wish I was that slender to wear that dress... It was GORGEOUS!!

I really liked this pattern and print.
Here is Diem and Anthony on the museums train caboose on display.

We ended the afternoon with lunch at Burger King so the girls could play at the playplace. We had such a good Saturday!!

Ippity cards

I dont have any of the new release sets yet.... I am expecting my sample set to come in a few days!!! Today is the day of the new release sets!!! Woo hoo!!! Here are some new Ippity cards I made today, using two of the sets I already have :)

Rise and Shine

Rise and Shine is one of my newest sets from Bombshell Stamps. She is a cutie. I used Pacific Point from SU to rub over my embossed card base, and accented around the edges. I colored the girl with Bic Mark its and Prismacolor. Total Boy Card!!!

Pink Bombshell, Practically Pepto Color

I love this stamp! And for some reason today, and part of yesterday was to start using girl colors... ahem, pink. I am not much a pink person, but for some reason, today... I was tempted! Pink everything, or just about pink everything. Too bad I didnt think about making her last month for the pink blog hop at Bombshell Stamps. :( Oh well.... Next time... She is colored with Bic Mark its, and Prismacolors.

More Bellas!!!

Lets Face it, I am a sucker for the bellas....
The Hockeymomabella is for my friend Marie Blanc. She is a bad ass hockey player. :) She is pretty much amazing, and I figured she deserved some mail from me :)

Both bellas are colored with bic mark its, and prismacolors.

For Drewper :)

For Drewper:
Diem hijacked his business card, and I made a card using his business card!!! Plus, Orange and Black are his favorite colors :) He receives a majority of my cards. I posted this on facebook, and within a matter of moments, he posts a comment on it!!! I always tag him in the cards I make for him. :) He says, and I quote!. "Girl that is bad ass!" That just brightened my day! Drewper! Thank you for being so supportive of the cards I make! Thank you for being such an easy receipent! Oh! The Orange! Is Only Orange by SU! I totally forgot to post that!

I love the Bellas!

Mermaid Bella... I cant think of her given name right now is made on a alterned mini composition book. And the Dancing Bella I love the way her dress came out... Purple that fades to pink :) I know... How girlie of me to say that I enjoy it :) Both are colored with Prismacolor and Bic Mark its.

Yoga Anya

Okay... I love The Greeting Farm stamps! I swear I have like 8 sets!! This little lady is Yoga Anya. I love her! She is soo sweet. I recently got her in the mail, and I knew I needed to ink her up right away!! She is stamped in SU Basic Black.. She is so fun to color. She is colored with Bic Mark its and Prismacolor. She is soooo versatile. I might be making some of these for Anthony's female clients... But I havent decided yet. I might just do it because I can :). What a nice thing to do... Yep.. I am a little too nice sometimes.

Sweet little Spring time girl

I forgot who this image comes from... but this adorable patterned paper comes from the $1 bin at Taylored Expressions... I love this little girl, and I love this paper even more!!

Colored with Bic Mark its, and Prismacolor

Karen's Doodles

Both of these images come from Karens Doodles. Both are colored with Prismacolor markers, and Bic Mark its.

Its about time I did some crafty stuff!!!

Diem and her Grandma Kathy, took her cousins, Adam and Aaron back to Phoenix, so for the past.... like 4 hours, I have been crafting up a storm!!!! It has been nice being able to get back in the swing of things :) I will post pictures from yesterday first... We built an amazing fort!! I hope you enjoy!

My Fashionable Nephew, Adam

Here is my "nephew", Adam Medina. What a looker he is ;) Happy Tuesday everyone!

Happy Belated Mothers Day

Caution:
Please excuse the following Mother and Daughter Moment. We hadnt been up very long... And Mama has no make up on... and Daddio (Anthony) was extremely close to our faces. So for your enjoyment. A picture of Diem and Mama!

Happy Belated Mother's Day!!!

Diem's FIRST hair cut!

The day had come.... Diem needed to get her FIRST hair cut!!! Her Aunt Angela did the trim for us... For those of you who know Diem... 1... she doesnt like her picture taken. And 2.... She has some really long hair!!! Here is to another milestone in the baby book!
Aunt Angela, spraying her hair... Diem liked this part!
THE FIRST SNIP!!! This is where I thought I was going to lose it!!

I am so glad we didnt have ANY tears during the cutting process, and she sat there so well. I guess it was because she was comfortable with family doing the snipping. And it must have been normal for her as she had me sitting in front of her snapping pictures. (Got to make sure that everyone gets to see the action!!)
We are getting close to the end. This was the part that D didnt like. She is just like me... Doesnt like ANY hair in the face! She kept trying to brush it out of her face.
Diem's Final Product Finishes With A Smile!!!!!! I will try to get a picture of the back of her head soon so everyone can see how much we took off... We only cut about 2-2 1/2 inches off... MAYBE. Just the little baby hairs. My little 3 year old isnt a baby anymore!! Dont worry Mom's I saved the hair for the baby book!!! I noticed this morning, that she and I pretty much have the same hair style. She has a Mommy hair cut!! :) Clean and Simple. :)

Oh I must add... Adam (Diem's cousin) got his hair cut too... so here is a picture of Adam's little boy hair cut. No it is not his first hair cut.

For my Jenna

For those who know my relationship with one of my best, and dearest friends, Jenna Shepherd. (I some times have called her JENA, CINNAMON, or even her pen name Genevieve... man I think I spelled that correctly!) We all know she is my "hippie" friend. I love her dearly and I do a lot of crazy stuff for this girl. One thing I have been doing is looking at nature in a completely different perspective. An artistic eye sees differently than someone with the naked eye. I on the other hand like to look for things in nature that remind me of Jenna. So far. I have two things in my arsenal for her. Both items are soooooo full of love... that they are in shapes of HEARTS!!! ;) Bet you didnt see that one coming now did you? Here is my newest find for the sweet Jenna... it just kind of snuck up on me the other day while I was at the park. So for your viewing pleasure... here is my newest found love for Jenna... oh yeah, I had a little bit of company while taking the picture ;)

For Everyone's Viewing Pleasure!!

Here are some pictures of our newest life adventure!!
Us on the airplane, in the tiny bathroom. This is when Diem psyched me out and said she had to use the bathroom. Little turkey didn't even have to go!

Diem and her Daddy, Anthony playing the shark version of Whack a Mole at Chuck E. Cheese. We had a lot of fun there!  Me on the other hand didnt feel too well.. I was a little car sick... I did eat more than my fair share of crappy pizza.

In this picture you have (backrow L-R): Aaron (J.J) Medina, Jessica Medina (pregnant with baby #3), John "Uncle Juan Pedro" Hicks, Myself. (Middle row L-R): Adam Medina, , Diem Marie. (Front) Mia Puett (John's Daughter). I think this is the first official family photo I know I have been apart of with all the kids. All we are missing is Jessica's husband Tommy, and Mia's Mom Michelle. Then we would have all the kids, and their parents. :)

I LOVE THIS CAR!!! It is so stinking cute!! Except for the creepy maniquins in it!! We went the Powerhouse Museum last Sunday. It was John Nick, Mia, Anthony, Diem and I. I of course went off on my own and took a bout a billion pictures! This is the only car in the joint, and I had to get a picture of it!!! Its a 1950's Studebaker Champion 4dr. Manufactures suggested retail price $1487.00. The Champion was the Studebakers low price car.

Here is the other side of the car. For those who dont know, that gray contraption on the side of the car window is a airconditioner. :)

And of course, you have to have the front end of the car :)

This is the Powerhouse Museum and Travel Center.

I meant to put this in the beginning, but this is Diem and I on our flight to Las Vegas! We had an okay flight, and we talked the whole way. Just the two of us. We had Mommy Diem bonding time.  It is trips like these I really cherish. Just the two of us. Eating treats, looking out the windows, and coloring. Well I had a glass of red wine, while Diem had sprite. We had chocolate goldfish graham crackers, Phineas and Ferb fruit snacks, Toy Story fruit snacks, Colorful Goldfish crackers, and of course the infamous Ring pop on our flight. It was was nice. :) We even got complemented  on how well behaved Diem was on the flight.

Okay, enough for now, as this post is like a novel with all these pictures. But there is more to come in the Chronicles of Diem and Emily Wilson.

My search for the closest craft store!

I am so flipping sad right now!!! I am probably going to have to buy my craft stuff online now :( Or from Michaels atleast!! The closest one to me is 63 miles away in Lake Havasu!!! What the french toast people!? Maybe this is a sign on if I had all the money in the world, I could have opened up my own Michaels. Ugh. Now what!? I am on a mission to find craft stores now in my area!! We have Big Lots, and we have Walmart, but nothing compares to a REAL LIFE CRAFT STORE!!!! Ugh my search continues. I know you all feel my pain. Yes, you know you know how I feel!!!

]

On that Note, please enjoy this picture of Diem. She was about a year old, give or take a month or two. This is from when we lived in Mount Pleasant Iowa while myself and her dad were going to college. :) Look how small she was!! Man, now that crazy animal is 3 and going nutso on all of us. Man how time flies right?

Ugh, OKAY so... now back to my search... Google here I come!!!

Joann's No such luck. Ugh that irritates me. All in the Phoenix area I guess. I should look up Vegas to see if they have one... But I dont mind ordering online from them. :) I get a lot of good deals from them.

Hobby Lobby... Basically all in the Phoenix area. But You can order online from them now apparently.

Any other suggestions?

I am so flipping frustrated!!! Oh well... Maybe it is a good thing I wont be near any craft stores!!

Okay, So I did a generic Google search.... Here is what it came up with for KINGMAN ARIZONA.....

1)Kingman Crafts‎   11251 East Blake Ranch Road, Kingman, AZ 86401-4537  20.4 mi – about 32 mins
2)Stella's Crafts Quillows‎   Golden Valley, AZ 86413  13.9 mi 22 mins

That looks like my selection. GRRRRR... what the french toast here people... So... please help this girl out, I need the 4-1-1 on where to go buy my craft supplies!!! HELP!

We Made it!!

Pictures will be to come soon!!!

Here is the play by play.... kind of.

We arrived yesterday in Vegas, Anthony was late picking us up. Diem peed her panties in the airport. "Ma, I have to go potty" as she is peeing. Thank god we were by the garbage can, she was wearing a dress, and we were covered for a quick McGiver move on getting her into new panties! After we get picked up... we head to Peter Pipers Pizza... just to find out that they are closed. Then we go to Chuck E. Cheese. We drop about $65 on 2 pizzas, 4 sodas, a salad and 120 tokens. I didnt play any games but Diem did have a good time! We arrive here in Kingman to find Jessica, and her two boys, Adam and Aaron here. What a great suprise!! But they left this morning. :( But they will be back this week sometime for Mommas day!

Today we went to the museum! Well the Powerhouse Museum. I saw some cute stuff... nothing too special its really based off of Route 66. I think we are going to go to the Bonelli house in the next couple days.

I have pictures to share.... but I havent uploaded them yet!!!
