I Love That You Love Me

I love Operation Write Home. I try to make at least 6 of the same cards when I cut into a piece of scrapbook paper. But when I get the 6 bases, I usually get some 1.5-ish scraps left over. What am I going to do with these little scraps?! I attached them to my cards!!! And then added a quick sentiment! Fun for summer right? I loved this paper I couldn't just waste it!!!

Chicks Dig Guns

It feels like its been forever since I have posted something that isn't BOMBSHELLS. But... In this case, I am going to talk about how one of my BOMBSHELL FRIENDS got me hooked on  Smeared Ink. If you haven't heard of Smeared Ink and you have a mischievous, edgy side you should check them out. My friend Rachael, who is a new Bombshell Girl just like me posted this particular set called Chicks Dig Guns, and I fell in love. IMMEDIATELY! So I went over to their store to purchase me this set come to find out, THEY ARE GOING STRICTLY DIGITAL SOON AND DISCOUNTING THEIR RUBBER STAMPS!! I had to order myself a set and now my mom just incase she didnt get a chance to get a set. WE  GOT THE LAST SETS!!! (OR so they said). 

I love this set. I made this card for Brian for his Dirty Thirty Birthday. Because well he likes hot girls with guns. I think shes a pretty girl!!! One of the best girls in this set too!!! I hope he likes it!

I also stamped the inside of the card. Which is always rare. I rarely stamp the inside. So here is the sentiment.

Happy Early Mom's Day to my Mom, Linda. Who is by far one of my favorite Red heads EVERRRRR! 

I made this vertical easel card for her, for the challenge over at Rise the Bar where I am a Guest Bartender!!! Thanks to my Bombshell altered flats I created using their Hawaiian theme last week!! :)

I used the Bombshell Angel, and the Bombshell Angel Digi clothing. Sentiment is also from the Digi set. I also used the Tattoo Font to stamp out "MOM". Which is a brand new set I got from Bombshell Stamps. :) 

She is inked up in Versafine, colored with Prismacolor (Eggshell) and SU Real red marker. 

I hope my mom enjoys it.

I was inspired by a pair of Betty Page themed shoes that were animal print. (SEEN HERE). Arent those Great!? I love them. I have a pair of Candies heels that are very similar to them! If found them on the link Alison provided for inspiration. Instead of me looking at Betty pictures, I saw a link for SHOPPING. Me... interested in shopping... How rare!! Now onto business and my card! Enjoy!

My "Betty" inspired project was made with two sets, Girls Ruin, and Love and Hate. The little birds really did the trick for me, and of course the Bombshell in the beautiful heel. She was inked in Versa fine, colored with Prismacolor, and Stampin Up Marker. Paper Pieced with Recollections- Animal Kingdom. Other papers also come from other Recollections paper. Paper has been Distressed with Versafine and a sponge paint brush.

Bracelet for Haley

If you follow me on Facebook, you have probably seen this bracelet. Some people thought this was a wooden bowl {due to it being on its side.}

I made this bracelet for one of my best friends, Haley. She has been asking... FOREVER for one and I kept neglecting to make one for her.

She came by my house on Monday and I showed her my stamp sets that she could chose from for me to put on a wooden bracelet for her. She chose Mermaid Treasure... But I also added Hawaiian Girl to this bracelet just because of the little turtle :)

I used Stazon, White tissue paper, Bic Mark its, Distress Inks, and Sparkle Mod Podge on this bracelet. I hope she likes it! She seemed to when I gave it to her on Tuesday!!! :) And imagine that! This qualifies for another BSS DT ONLY CHALLENGE!! :) Look at me... I am on a roll!!

It was such a fun sketch, I hope to do more of this sketch.I shouldnt forget to mention... this card also qualifies for the Bombshell Stamps DT ONLY challenge because I used stamps from TWO different stamp sets. I used Bombshell Angel, and Rose's Portrait. How fun right? The more submissions I turn in the better the chances myself to win some Bombshell goodies so wish me luck since my Bombshell Wish list is like a million pages long! :)

I am sending this card to Diem's aunt for her birthday which is this week. She is a big supporter of my craftiness. I figure it would be perfect for her!

This card was made with the rose and sentiment from Rose's Portrait, and the Lil Angel from Bombshell Angel. Everything was inked in Versafine, and colored in Prismacolor and Bic Mark-its. And the big shocker... I USED STICKLES!!! I know I am more shocked than you are I think. ;)

Bombshell Stamps April Pin Up Challenge: Alter Ego

doodles for Haley

Rumor is the proper term for things like this called a Zentangle. I prefer to just call it a doodle. I love the feel of a brand new  sharpie and that is what is used to draw this for one of my best friends, Haley. She has been asking me for a while to draw her one so I finally did it. Boy did it start a monster. I ended up drawing two smaller versions for two other people. This is a 12x12 doodle. Now I need to go pick up a scrapbook frame for her :)

I used my nesties circle, Fiskars coffee set, and some scrap papers. Little coffee cup has been colored with prismas, and SU! 

I made this for OWH. Its a perfect Pocket card :) :)

If you did not already hear the commotion.... I AM AN OFFICIAL BOMBSHELL STAMP FULL TIME DESIGN TEAM (for the next 6 months) MEMBER!!! I am pretty excited, and if it wasn't for my Bombshell BFF, Rachael I would not have gotten it. She got it as well! This was Drewper's Christmas card this past Christmas card. Not the best, but he liked it!

Been a while....

Or so it seems  since I have posted a Greeting Farm image :)  And please excuse the crappy picture. Diem dropped this camera a while back and I have been with out a camera and at the time this was the best case scenario. But I got a new camera, and soon enough better pictures will be arriving!!

I used a MS punch, and layered different papers on top of each others for this look. I have seen it done on other cards around the blog world, and I figured I would try it out. I love how it looks, and so I figure I will do this again soon :)

My little Anya is colored with Prismas and SU markers (Typical I know!)

I hate stickers, but I love these SU floral stickers that I got from my OWH secret santa. She also gave me the leaf paper. I love how it goes great with Kraft paper!!!!

My Name is Emily, and I am a paper pack hoarder

So, my camera took a dump a few days ago, so some pictures will have this black shutter mark in the corner. THANK YOU MEL FOR PUTTING YOUR FINGER IN THE LENS!!!

This paper is over 3 years old. I got it while I was a scrapbooker. And its one thing that I hate! FLOCKED!!! I hate flocking and flocked paper. I guess its a texture thing! But I do not like it. So who ever gets my card from OWH. I hope you like it. :) :)

Sentiment comes from a Fiskars coffee set, but I like it just the same!!!

Love/ Valentines day card :)

I love this House Mouse Stamp. I saw it in a Hobby Lobby ad last year, asked my mom to get it for me as she lives near a HL... well she sent me the wrong one. This year for Valentines day she got it for me though!!! :) And it was early too so I could make some Love cards for OWH. Well this card inparticular was made for my Aunt Marie.

These little critters were stamped in Versafine, and colored in Prismas and SU. Papers were on sale at Mikes, but cant remember who they are by, but I know I love the paper!!!!

This is probably by far the best $1 Mikes find! I have used it so many different times for OWH :) I love it!

I have stamped this hoot-er with Versafine and colored with Prismas and SU.... paper is from Joanns...  and its all peacock themed.... i believe its called Royal Garden. I love how rich the colors and I suggest everyone buys atleast 2 packs. one to use and one to hoard. :)

Do you like to stamp? If so, do you like to color your images?
Do you like Digital stamps? If so do you like to color them? or do you like the pre colored ones better?

When I am making a mass produced amount of cards (10 or more) I like my pre colored digis. But in general I like to color my own images... (SMH on buying all those SU Stamp pads in like EVERY COLOR!!!!!). I love to color, but when I saw these, and I was getting close to the Valentine/Love Archway cookie challenge for OWH I knew these would be a great time saver. I only made about 6-10 of these for my "mass producing" because I only had so much houndstooth paper. I love this image, and normally this isnt my style! But with OWH I have realized that things I dont really like some people LOVE!!!!!!!

I do have to confess that the sentiment is a $1 find at Jo Anns. :) and its perfect for a love card! :) :)

Operation Man Card

I dont remember exactly where this image came from. It probably came from my BFF Lena over at Scrapbutterfly... and her giant stash of WRAKs and already printed digis. Man that girl has a stash built!!! And she and her hubby, Tony LOVE LOVE LOVE to fish. :)

If Only you knew... HOW MUCH I LOVE THE BELLAS!!!

I love the Bellas from Stamping Bella. I do own quite a few, but this one I received out of WRAK on SCS. The sentiment is a sticker my mom got out of a HSN or QVC scrapbook package that she ordered then never used. I figured why not put this on a card!

I made this card for OWH around Valentines Day. But Its easily a LOVE card which can be used year round for OWH. :)

She is colored with Prismas and SU. And all papers I believe are Recollections.

If you have never checked out the Bellas collection and their counterparts at Stamping Bella--- you should.. And would you believe, the creators name is Emily too!? :) :)

Lovely Bombshell

With this weather here in Northern CA... why not bring out this set, and the paper and create something ready for summer! :) I received these stamps during my term last June as Ms. June for Bombshell Stamps. I have been hording this paper from DCWV for soooooooooo long, and I figured what a great match up they would make. Its like Shannon made them for one another.

RTS Valentine #2

I really didnt want to give this card away. But luckily, I had someone in mind who would enjoy it almost as much as me! :) :)
RTS gets this... as this was his 2nd Valentine. Bombshell Mermaid,  stamped in Versafine, but colored with SU and Prismacolor. Also sponged with SU! :) :)

RTS Valentine #1

I use abbrevations. RTS is actually someones intials.  This was their 1 of 2 Valentines I made and hand delivered with some homemade goodies, a box of tissues, a 12 pack of Coors Light, and a bag of dog treats. For those who know me, know who this gift and card was for. Trust me it was a nice Valentines Day gift for this person. :) :)

I used some Bazzil Basics paper that I have been stashing from Big Lots, I used my Stars embossing folder blessed with the ink of SU Close to CHOCOLATE (since I dont use the word Cocoa). I also used my Swiss dots CB Folder. and of course my BEAUTIFUL Bombshell Cowgirl. I love her. Minus her armpit lines. I always think its HAIR!!! She is also stamped in SU, and colored with SU and Prismas. The revolvers are Real Red, and Pacific Point. :) :)

Yesh! I didnt know I needed to be punished!! But yes. For those that know, I have very sensitive skin, and I burn EASILY!! Today, my friend Haley, and her friend Mahala went to the Mendocino College baseball game as they took on Laney College. I didnt think that I would burn, but I sure as heck did! And yes, in the area that Miss March mentioned. But did my other two friends burn? No!!! What the heck is going on here?!

With that being said, I am not exactly in pain, but I am definitely not comfortable. Hopefully it wont be a gross pealer? I was notorious for that last summer.

Other than being burned, I am busier than all heck. I have my family in town ''visiting''... we have termites and wood boring beetles, and the clutch has been less than effective in the Dodge. Whatelse can I bore you with but get you with the times? I know there isnt a card here, but I am considering about writing this all down as a reference of what the heck is going on in my world. But I can tell you I have made about:

 150 cards, and have spent $88+ on postage.

I am thinking about doing a 30 day challenge of doing OWH card challenges. Just a thought. :)

I love to draw. More specifically doodle.

My friend Clint, and I have been joking about who is the better artist. He said he has really great skills with crayons, I told him... I prefer sharpie!

A Happy 25th Birthday is coming up this month. For my friends birthday, I have made them 25 birthday cards. :) I know, I have over done myself, but for this person I would do just about anything.

This is a combo of ippity {fishy philosophy} and Bombshell stamps vintage mermaid. I love these stamps, and why not create this for someone who loves fishing/ and the water?

INK: SU variety of blues, but really bermuda bay!, Browns, and colored with SU markers, and Prismas.

Stickles, and Bleach were also used! :)

Nothing is better than a love note. :) I have a good friend of mine who is back into my life who I have been sharing notes with. Sometimes, you just need a good laugh.... or something to share how you feel.

I personally LOVE this stamp set, Maid for You, by MFT. It is probably my go to stamp set now adays. Especially with Valentines Day right around the corner!

Colored with Prismas, and Stampin Up Markers.... actually a lot of the new in-colors were used for this card.

I even tried getting the inside to match the outside.

Retired: SU Fly Fishing

Hey friends!

I borrowed this stamp set Fly Fishing from my mom. I found it perfect for my someone special's birthday card! I used Recollections Spice Market papers, and some scrap paper my mom had left behind to make this card. I even used Stickles. And I am anti glitter too! My friend is really big into fishing... I think more Bass fishing than Fly, but its still perfect!

Stamping Bella Bellas are one of my favorite stamps. :)
She is colored with SU Markers, and Prismas. My mediums of choice.

I mass produced these for OWH. :) In a variety of colors, and styles. Hopefully they find a fun home!

Its been awhile, how about some HOUSE MOUSE?! I love this little stamp. I actually received some stamped images from SCS-DSS and I knew I had to have it. :) Sent my mom on a while goose chase, and she found it!! :)

Happy New Year!!! 2012

Wow , I havent posted a blog post since late August!! Where have I been!? Well I have been still crafting like crazy. I met my 2011 card goal and almost surpassing it by almost double! 2011 had been a crazy year for Diem and I. We lost some amazing people in our lives, and most recently a very good friend of mine from college, Charley passed away Dec 24. He was one of the most amazing people that I ever met during my time at IWC. He was actually one of the very first people I ever met there.

I coached my very first season of High School soccer, and I plan on doing it again next year. I loved my little JV girls team. The girls became family to Diem and I and they are sure making me worry what Diem will be like in her teen years!!

As it is the start of 2012, it has almost been a year since Cortney's death. Not a day doesnt go by where I dont think of her. Diem asks about her all the time which makes it hard, but we always take time to remember her and talk about how much she affected our lives.

So on a positive note for '12. I have come up with 3 simple goals. Not resolutions, just GOALS.

1) Make 2500 Cards
2) Keep track of how much I spend on Cardmaking supplies
3) Keep track of how much I spend on postage.

The last two have been things I have been thinking about for a while. I mean I almost spent $40 on Christmas postage alone! I couldnt imagine a whole year!!!

As this post is brief, I am going to include my very first card for the new year!!! Someone special *wink wink* will be receiving this card for either A their birthday which is this month, or B for Valentines day :) :)

I love how people ask me to do things for people in need, or help them show how much they mean to someone. I  always put a label on the backs of my OWH cards, and sometimes I have people who respond to me. A man from the USO-Shindand asked me to make several birthday cards for a woman he works with. This was just one of the several cards I made for him to share.

Bombshell Love

I apologize to my Bombshell crew. Sorry I havent been playing much. I have had technical issues.

This is the first Bombshell I have used in a while, and I love her on this paper!!! I got this paper from a Mikes paper pack... It is "marbled-ish" I dont even know, but I love this paper, with these colors. I used my CB embossing folder (stars) and rubbed close to cocoa <-- ew I hate that word. over the top. This lovely broad was also stamped in that color as well and then colored with SU markers. :) Sorry picture quality is bad, but it helps due to my computer issues. Ugh if only you knew!!!

Sorry I have been MIA lately. I have been having computer issues, and I am back on my old PC... Hopefully I will get my other desktop set up soon, or my mom will send my dads laptop to me soon. :)

I made this card for my PCP (PaperCraftPlanet) Secret Pal. I have been slacking, and I have been doing a crappy job of getting cards to her. Its a year long thing, and I have to get 5 cards (minimum) to my pal from October 10- October 11.

All paper is Recollections or Me and My Big Ideas Stacks. The lovely lady is colored with SU! :)
